Well done, but their age difference might be incorrect.  If Dean's 13, Sam wouldn't be in second grade, he'd be 9.

I really liked this.  I found myself smiling as I was reading this story.  It was such a cute story.  It had so many touching moments in it.  I was thinking this story shows what Christmas is truly about.  I can't wait to read your other one shots if they are as excellent as this one was.  I have no doubts that they will be as great as this one.

A series about Winchester firsts! What a great idea! I'm in! How clever!

Your first one was a ripper. I smiled all the way through and caught my breath at the end. Supportive Dean and generous Sam in one ficlet which oozes Christmas spirit and brotherly bond! Gotta love that!

Dean wanted to pummel potential bullies was protective big brother and emerging hunter at your service. But him sucking up his "hot swoop of fury" (great phrase!) to hunker down quietly in front of Sam was gentle, intuitvie big brother at his best. Great work!

And already hustling!  Covertly breaking (pulverising really!) school rules and playing bigger kids was Dean's cunning, wit and street smarts in action. And why? For Sammy's happiness. Just loved it! Awesome thinking and writing.

And that hug! And it lasted a long time *sigh* Dean trying not to show his emotions caught totally off guard by his generous, loving little brother. Beautifully written.

I'm really excited about this series. Thanks for the original concept and for sharing.  Lots of fun, tender moments and action ahead! Gotta be happy with that! And THREE specials for New Years Eve! What a treat!
