Very informative chapter! Loved Dante pushing Sam and Concha from the room telling them to do their homework! One more reason I like Concha---no beer or tattoos. I guess that's two more reasons. I like the way you tie the elements to each person in the group (and how Concha decides her brother will be dirt). So funny!

Dean's constant reminder of Sam's upcoming ass-kicking is truly comedic! I thought Dean was a smart alec---Concha is the Master! I love how Dean recognizes looks similar to those Sam uses on him and Sam recognizes expressions similar to Dean's in Dante. Okay, did Bobby call the demon to get the others to bond?

Just a question, what's the significance of the star in all your banners? The title had me guessing. thanks for explaining what a tartum is. Love the spleen-eating ghoul remark! That's a Mastercard moment! Dean blowing the smoke from his pistol---cool!

So many funny things in this chapter!---the road sign, the community of mating sashquash. Nice touch using Orion to break the ice. I also like the positive way Concha's comments about hunters make Dean feel.

A very lovely story. And although a few wee little tidbits seemed a little contrived, or rather theatrical, it was a really entertaining story and a pleasant read. I've actually been toying with the idea of using a similar plot device in a story I'm brainstorming, but don't have the courage to start, so hopefully this could be the needed impetus. Anyways, I really enjoyed the story.

Dean Winchester is the best big brother anyone ever had, and I love it that your story demonstrated that so beautifully. And even though the characters of Dante and Concha were well-developed characters in their own right, this was really about the Winchesters and you never lost sight of that. So glad I made it back to this story, you should be proud of your work. And I almost feel like we were chatting because of the fast reaction to reading and reviewing -and that was fun too! Love Deans' thoughts about Sam, and Sam's thoughts about Dean for that matter. This is great: Sam, the annoying little twit, would just stand there looking at him with his damn infernal ‘you’re my big brother and nothing will hurt me with you around’ look he was just so good at. It's a lovely way to demonstrate the brothers' relationship without explicitly stating it - you can do it from inside Dean's head! Only one more chapter? This story has gone so fast!

Hi Bayre, since it seems like I'm reading, then reviewing, then you're reading my reviews! Another terrific chapter, you've ramped the suspense up nicely - Sam getting locked in a trunk, after all Dean's teasing about it, was a master stroke. Am I reading straight on? You bet!

Loved the conversation between Sam and Dean about the merits of whining and sulking! And although I don't usually like extra characters, I like both Concha and Dante. Quite a feat on your part!

I really like it that Bobby's involved. It's interesting that Dean trusts the rendezvous Bobby's set up because he would kill him if the other hunters couldn't be trusted around Sam - and Bobby knows it. Throws some new light on their relationship.

Enjoyed Gale Warnings so much I decided to check that I had read all of your other work, and of course realised there must be a previous story with Concha and Dante, and ..... dammit!
