Awesome chapter! The evil clown doll is both freaky and hilarious -- mostly because of his foul mouth and his sick sense of fun.
I'm really worried about his plans on finding a better body than the doll one, though....

Oh holy crap! That was really terrifying! I find clowns pretty freaky (Tim Curry as Pennywise I think scarred me for life!), but this was just... Ugh!

I should first thank you both idgets for that nasty recall of failed essy that I did on that book of Sir Stephen King "IT". I like Sam don't like it and I will never ever watch that movie again . . . . This is getting very suspensfull. I do hope that this isn't a pre-qual of "IT" without King having any acknolegdment of it, because if there is a CLOWN and totally scares the HELL out of SAM and MYSELF. Well, then we are going to have to salt both of you and then berry you. "CLOWNS KILL, TEASE, HAUNT, STEAL, AND HURT YOUNG TO OLD KIDS" I just don't like them!! Neither does SAM. Not fare that both of you know our secreted emblem of never going near them EVER!!!!!!! Other than that I think Mr. King himself would congratulate both of you on your writing so far.

Loved this chapter ladies, and that Chaos is more freaky than Chucky on speed...lol
And gross with a capital G...headless corpses...? Very cool!
But for some reason few things are more freaky than a weird living doll singing nursery rhymes at us...why is that??

what a great story so far; Chaos evil little S@*&!
Sam being afraid of clowns how funny is that. i like the episode "Everybody Loves a Clown." where we first learn of Sam's dislike of clowns.
Dean being his typical self; like the bantering and the practical jokes so far.
i love the old ladies how funny......that is so going to be me in my old age. Dean's reaction to them especially when they touched his bicep and pecs i laughed out loud.
loved how you first introduced them seeing Dean and Sam in their boxes; yummy. i am hoping you had them back into the story since they are going to NM as well.
again great story hoping chapter 8 will be soon.

Hey, I'm all caught up and you left me with a cliff-hanger, here. A lot of action crammed into this chapter, and enough previous murder scenes to know that Buttons is in big trouble in the next scene.
And a wicked sense of evil, that nasty Chaos clown demon riding the pretty pink Barbie bike - what a mental picture that conjures up! Sue

Well, Sammy survived his trip to the clown museum. I knew that jack-in-the-box had a clown in it, wasn't expecting the knife, tho. And I loved Dean's giving Buttons his bit of advice at the end of their visit.
Pinky was interesting, and a great way of showing that everyone knew about Cutler and the judge. Although, I've gotta wonder how, if everyone else knew, his wife didn't suspect or have some kind sould flat-out tell her?

Hey, I didn't know that wigwams are built like quonset huts, learn something new every day. I do remember seeing a teepe-like motel somewhere in my travels with my family (many moons ago). We didn't stay there, tho'.

A chapter full of scenery-ogling, yum! I really liked the diner scene, it nicely strung together Dean's big brother mode, Sam's fear, and expained the origin of the title. Not to mention the pyschobabble at the end was just about priceless.

No, Sue..... Idea actually came after a nightmare involving this DREADFUL macabre CLOWN doll I saw on a darkened store shelf here in Jacksonville...... Told Vanessa who suggested I write a basic plot get the tale started and we could switch hit on chapters..... That psychobabble website exists...I found it while doing research one day...laughed at the deadly serious manner in which it addresses the issue....shame on me...
and so it began.......the clown in our banner IS that doll!!! Jude

Well first..yeughhh, for the vomity start and ladies, I was just eating my breakfast when I read that...
...and as if Buttons wasn't freaky enough on his own...but Chaos - OMG.
The whole last section of this chapter gave me goosebumps, and beautifully written from the pov of the bad guy...awesome!
