I almost had tears in my eyes when I read the last part about Sam shaving his head in sympathy for Dean. This is what my hubby did before his best friend had to go through chemo, too. Brings back lots of memories....

Hey Judy, good to see you back with an update on this story. Yeah, tell me about real life... :)

I so loved little Dean insisting on having a baby brother and calling him 'Pala. Also the trick of having the baby's heartbeat checked out to make Dean get a check-up himself was just wonderful. Looking forward to more. Now on to adult Dean and his treatment. I guess he is finally ready for some good news.

 Seriously? Lick-A-Chick is real?? I totally thought you were playing with the "Chick Flick-a" (or whatever it is) restaurant name. What a great name and yeah, it's PERFECT for Dean. LOL.

 Oh! I hope that Sam is the match! I like the idea that he was the million to one shot and yeah, I think it would show that they were always meant to be brothers.

I study medicine and it's more realistic, believe me, a son has 50% of his fathers genes!

Plus if it's Bobby, Dean can discover that he is his father. I don't want Sam to be the match, I prefer Bobby, please!!!

I think I would prefer Sam. It would show that even though they aren't blood, they truly are brothers.  Against all odds - they match, and that makes them brothers!

Good to see an update to this story. I really enjoyed it. Definately want Sam to be the match. I love Bobby, and yes he might be the "real" father, but there is always an opportunity to deal with this matter later/in a different story. Dean wasn't the one chosing to be brought up by the Winchesters but he loved his mum and he loves John. So let's not put that kind of stress on him now. Looking forward to more.

Since you asked...I'd like Sam to be the real donor cos John & Bobby seem to care more about their rights than they do Dean. Also I'd prefer it if Dean doesn't find out the truth and Sam has to keep the secret...it lends to amazing possibilities, doesn't it.

But truthfully I'd much rather you finished this story. I'm really enjoying it so thanks a lot for sharing it with us.

I've been enjoying this story. Definitely would help to explain that almost father thing Bobby has going with Dean on the series.

I think I would actually prefer to have Bboby be the match. Sam is always Dean's brother - no doubt about that, but I think it would really do Bobby good to feel like he can actually do something to help his son after all that's hapened.
