You're doing a nice job with this, I was happy to see another chapter up.  Accurate description of aplastic anemia.  Dean as a preemie is endearing somehow, even if the little guy is having a rough time.

"We?" John asked in surprised."Yeah, it's time you met your son.""We have to tell Dean." That both excited John and made him nervous, but he was going to see his son. His son. He liked the sound of that.
Now I am ready to find out how adult Dean will take the news that he was adopted. And will they find a bone marrow match for him? More please soon! Thanks!

Nasty, nasty, evil cliffie!!! Bone marrow biopsies are tremendously painful (haven't had one but know people who have), so you got that very right.... actually, I don't think they can freeze the bone at all... I am - dying - to know what is up with Dean - please post sooooon!

Really catching story so far.  "Let’s get started on our family. I can't wait to meet James or Samantha," she said with a wild glint in her eye.    Hm, I wonder if Mary got pregnant from John after all or is the little Dean in the hospital "our" Dean?  Interesting way of writing the chapters. And what's wrong with present day Dean in the hospital? Looking forward to more!
