Love it! Both boys hunter antenna up and working. Plus the brother radar - Dean reading the caution in Sam's smile and recognising the wariness in his voice. And now that Deacon's passed the test, of course Dean likes him: his admiration of his mother and his car, not to mention a fellow soldier responsible for saving his Dad's life - what's not to like!!!
Thanks for this creative peek at the meeting before FB, I appreciate your snippet.

That's just lovely. That Dean looks like his Mum (She was one good looking lady then!), and that we know the Impala was hers. That's why it is so so important to Dean - 'cause it connects him to her. Sweet!

Perfectly worded, short and sweet as always. And of course Dean would like someone who saved his dad, says he looks like his mum and appreciates the Impala! Thanks for sharing (she says for about the gazillionth time this week!)

It never sat well with me that after all the grief they had with John's friends earlier in the season Deacon would just be an OK guy... so I decided he must have been Mary's friend as well, and that would account for it ;) glad you liked the idea!
