What a deep and meaninful this one is! The comparison of their parents to challenge Dean's black and white thinking  because of Sam's insightful observations of his brother's behaviour. Very clever plot line!

How right you are. Both parents spirits, both protecting thier sons. I just loved your descriptions of both Mary and John from Dean's pov, another peek behind Dean's wall. A veiw Sam sees without having to scale it...

Love the whole freight train analogy, your creativity and originality shone through. Excellent work, it was a fun as well as poignant read.

My fav line? "Irritated Sam you can deal with, very well in fact, since you basically created him"- yep, no denying that one, Dean!! Cute!

As usual, the connection between the boys was the thread, and you interwove it perfectly. Loved your "I-didnt-mean-to-bring-it-up" apology, a great example of the boys just getting each other.

Author's Response: It all grew out of my mild annoyance at a case of Winchester hypocrisy: Dean accepts Mary's sacrifice for him and Sam but mistrusts Molly 'just because' she's dead? I don't think so. Glad you liked what came of it, thanks for reviewing!

Okay - so I had finished for the day but as I love your stuff, just had to read this and boy I'm glad I did.

This is mindnumbingly beautiful. You've crawled right inside Dean's head and spoken through him.

Every sentence was believable and delivered the emotional equivilent to a really great meal, I feel totally satisfied at the end of reading this but just want to find room for more!

Awesome job - birdie was right - I'm adding you to my fav's also!
