Really enjoyed this, short but sweet. Very good understanding of the characters. The line about the only thing that can drive a wedge between them being their dad - spot on! Thanks for sharing.

I loved this irnan, wish they had made this scene in the show. Loved the reference to "Faith".... there’s nothing we can do, the doctor said, and the thought that Dean would soon never call you anything again cut through you like a knife, and now you feel a surge of relief every time he uses that nickname. .... and you have perfectly nailed Dean's protective streak in this line: How in the hell does he just turn himself off like that to enquire anxiously about you anyway? Fantastic work, thank you so much! More please?

wow....really great...I was thinking the same thing when that episode ended...Dean had understood how she felt about her brother while they hunted for Sam....and Sam knew what they had done to her thru her brother....... Great final lines

I've often wondered about that walk back, thanks for the peek. Yep, that eppy was so freaky all right. Dean's disgust and "Demons I get" said it all! "He killed her brother" nothing more needed. Total insync thinking. Your last three lines are stunning - said simply to say everything. Sam's sudden realisation of an understanding he came to on automatic pilot "...blindingly obvious, ridiculously simple" and Dean's aknowledgement with that physical support "...trusting you to take his weight" was so well written. The brothers bond an unspken, ever present given. Your analogy of taking his weight as trusting each other with their life was awesome. Loved Sam intuitvely getting that Dean hadn't slept for the whole time, and he needed to get him back to town. And Sam's flair of anger at the fruity Missy for threatening Dean, knowing that Dean's greatest fear for himself was of being maimed, was a great angle - so credible to both characters. Great work, creative and original thinking. I loved everything about this fic, great work *cheers*
Author's Response: Thanks ever so much... it just made sense to me, watching the ep again, that Dean would be more afraid of being blinded than he would be of being killed. Glad you enjoyed it!

Real nice add on, you've got some great one liners in here. I like the unusual style of story telling, and the last line kind of says it all - great stuff! Oh - and they're getting longer!!! so more to enjoy!!!!
