what a lovely little sentimental piece

Crystal

Author's Response: Thank you very much Crystal. I'm glad you liked it. Sentimental, but not too much of a chick flick, I hope. ;)

Awh Merrie you mentioned me!  That's so nice, Bird and me are doing the happy dance for you!

This is real nice I love the 'forgotten whenever you sit behind the wheel line' that's so Dean 'cause the Impala is freedom and peace for him.  And knowing it was his Mum's would give him that connection/piece of normalcy he so craves.

I can hear the music and feel the breeze from the open window and I don't even mind Sam's long legs geting everywhere as me and the boys cruise happily into the sunset!!

Thanks Hunny Bev xxx Your 'Old' friend

Author's Response:

I hope you won't let him fall off the seat again. ;)

Old friend, very funny. I'll have words with you about that later...

Glad you liked it.

Another wonderful little memory to add to your collection. This one's a whole lifetime rolled into one. I've always loved the idea that the impala is 'home' and you captured this throughout not just in that one line.

Two lines stole my heart; Dean's pride at having Sam ride shotgun, that "no spirit, demon or wendigo could ruin that moment", and Dean's lifetime understanding of why his Dad lept the car.  Beautifully written.

Yep, love this one too! I hope you've more up your sleeve.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed this one aswell. Somehow I had this idea in my head that the Impala was "home", I'm glad you agree.

Thanks for reviewing.

Marvelous!  So many childhood milestones that I remeber going through myself.  You did Dean's point of view wonderfully!

Author's Response:

Thank you very much, I'm glad you liked it. I really enjoy writing Dean's POV, he's just such an interesting character.
