Bipolar? That's funny.  I like the way you write Dean and his internal dialogue - too funny.  I'm really enjoying this story.

I love the way Dean deflects John's anger away from Sam and manages to keep reassuring Sam all the time, the dialogue was priceless.  Bobby in the background was great.  J

Poor Sam, from euphoric to scared, guilt ridden and injured in one fell swoop.

We all knew that John would be pi$$ed and he sure was! But "Look Out For Your Brother" says it all, John all ballistic out of worry and fear for his sons. And that menacing tone...Thanks for John in protective father mode, always one of my fav's!

Loved how you had Dean and Bobby running interference, thank goodness!! And Dean maintaining physical contact with Sam to reassure him and show him he had his back - just perfect... And I noticed that Dean didn't hand over the phone when angry John demanded it.

Which brings me to my fav scene in this ch - "Dean sat down beside his brother and pulled him into a slight hug, hand resting on the back of Sam's neck, fingers locked into his long brown hair, thumb rubbing gently up the back of his neck. "It's okay, just breathe kiddo" -  beautiful image, beautifully written *gentle sigh*

Fantastic chapter, you showed all four boys differing emotions and reactions at the one time, all in the mixing pot together, yet all working as a team knowing how to react to each other. Christmas cookies well earned.

Ole Bo wasn't mucking around was he?

A very tender chapter amongst your drama, yep, you do write hurt!sam and protective!dean very well.

I loved how you had Dean reacting to Sam's face and eyes - "Lashes fluttered and lethargic eyes looked up at Dean, blinking slowly as if attempting to focus" a beautiful example. And Dean struggling between the brother and the hunter that he is "His mind blurred as the sudden need to take care of his kid brother overcome him..." another peek at the vulnerable Dean that emerges when Sam is hurt but which Dean manages to subdue. Excellent work!

Dean bashing himself up again as guilt set in "Damn it, I'm sitting around eating pizza and Sam's out here freezing to death. Damn it" - so sad but so true to Dean's character.

I loved Sam's reaction to being safe with his big brother in the impala "He knew this, he remembered it" that whole description of him melting into the seat watching Dean had me melting too!

And how cute was this "did you like her?...a goofy smile on his lips" He's just had his head bashed in by a spirit that should be vanquished and the first thing that pops in his head is a Dean's approval! Yeah, this crush is a major component of this fic alright!!

I was wondering where you were going with the constant mentioning of Sam's jacket other than the cold...of course, Sammy lifted something off Bo's but where was it?? Now Katie's in the firing line. Not to mention that this may turn out badly for Sammy's chances...Oh dear!

Thanks for sharing your creativity and effort, I'm really loving this fic.

I'm reading it and eagerly awaiting each and every update, the story rocks!! 

Loved this chapter with love-struck, chivalrous Sam, I'm so pleased Katie seems just as smitten.  Shame 'Ole Bo' seems just as determined to stick to Sam....lol.

Hopefully it's Dean to the rescue, such a good big brother.  Lovely story, great update.  J
