I understand Dean's anger toward his father at putting the hunt first, but I also understand John's need to protect his sons.  Finishing the hunt and burning the locket is the only way he can do that.  AAhhh, the misunderstandings of family.

You had my heart pounding faster as John and Bobby looked for Dean and then when they were running down the embankment...whew!  I'm breathless and I haven't even left my chair.  Great chapter!

Another good chapter!  I feel so sorry for the boys.  They have so much to deal with, physical and mental battering from ghosts, irate father's, mean girls, stupid jocks and hard trees.  Not even the Impala was spared.

Yay Dean!  It's too bad Sam doesn't have a sister to beat the shit out of her.  I like how after Katie's mean to him, Sam sees her differently.  now her lips are overly pink and her pretty shiny hair is ratty.

Just when you lull me into a relaxed state, you throw something unexpected at me.  Sweet!  Usually Dean is the one who gets beaten to a pulp.  This is a change.

I had to laugh at Dean's opinion of his dad's severe mood swings.  Good thing I was alone.  This is such an interesting story.  It captures all the love and protection of the two brothers and the added bonus of suspense, action and humor.  Marvelous!

Poor Sammy!  He's so twisted with love that he can't think straight about Ole Bo's bauble.  Thank goodness it's Dean to the rescue!

First - beautiful ending to this chapter with Dean climbing into the bed to warm his brother... but secondly..there are no more of those nice little next buttons to press.

Nice to see someone write John as the complex character he is, he's so often portrayed as either a ogre or a broken man and I suspect he's neither (and a bit of both) good update...moving on...
