Loved this, I've read quite a few stories with the idea of Dean giving Sam something either deliberately or Sam stealing something of Dean's to take with him, but this had a real freshness to it. Lovely job.

I really like this story. I love that Sam still kept Dean's t-shirt as a reminder, even though he's pretty much getting rid of the past. And I like that Jess didn't understand why he'd keep it. Nice work.

You know, a lot of the stories that i've read have Sam actually taking one of Dean's tees when he left for college...although they varied on the band that's featured on the tee... is it mentioned in the series? Or just one of those things where everyone agrees that must have happened?? :)

i think it's just one of 'those things'. I've read stories where Dean's packed stuff for him, or sent him things, t-shirts included, and as I was feeling all fluffy and happy today I thought I'd write one ;)

Incredible line---"and hold infinity in the palm of your hand"! It made me shiver.
I can understand both brothers hesitaiton with telepathy, considering they like to keep secrets from one another, but in some ways they already have it.
Very clever idea to save Dean!
