Author's Response: Hey, idjit! lol The thing is, this story was written BEFORE Dead Man's Blood, back before the show addressed their version of vampires. I was using the Buffy mold, not to mention this was my first story ever! I gotta say, I did feel bad when they aired DMB, but I do love how they represent vampires on the show. Sometimes you win one and anticipate where show is gonna go, and sometimes you get egg on your face. I hope the rest of the story held your interest and was enjoyable.
