Hi. I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed reading this story and think that you did a good job writing it. I like how you wrote the characters and how Sam got rid of the skinwalker thing because it didn't fit Lucifer's plans. You said that you tend to be brief or sparce in your writing but I didn't notice it so I don't think you were too brief. I tend to be the opposite.... I look forward to reading more of your work soon.

Wow, didn't expect that. Lucifer healed Sam, sadly it was because he wanted him the way he was and not because he actually tried to help Sam. Too bad that ends the story too. I'm sad, but I hope you've got more up your sleeve. Hugs, Vonnie

Wow, this one completely shocked me. I understand why Sam felt Bill needed to be killed, but it was how he acted that came unexpected and shocked me. Did he just put a show on or was he really this cold blooded? Hugs, Vonnie
Author's Response: Hey, Vonnie, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I've been finishing the last chapter for "The Huddle" and it kind of ate my life for the last week! About Sam? I don't think of it as cold-blooded, more pragmatic. After all, this isn't Bill's first time at bat going after them. And he did just have a gun to Dean's head. Sam would have forgiven a gun to his own head more than one to Dean's. Bill was like Gordon. He wasn't going to stop. Thanks for hanging in, last chapter will be up within the next few days. My input for you - there is no need to get even a small inferiority complex, you are way too good for that. Stand up and hold your head up high girl. As for this chapter, definitely awesome. Sam's dream was scary and I can understand why he doesn't want to sleep after that one. Dean seeing the raw fear in his brother's eyes was so sad, but I'm glad that he finally understands. Author's Response: Hey Vonnie, Glad you're still hanging in and reading. It's always great to hear from you. One of the most heartbreaking things about Sam is his capacity for self-loathing. Dean, too, for that matter. I think that because of the life they've led, the way they've had to harden themselves to do what needs to be done -- they lost an essential part of themselves. I don't think you ever really come all the way back from that. On another front: Lucifer is an "unprintable expletive". But a lot of fun to write. :)

So glad Sam didn't kill Bill and Carl, though after what Carl has now told them it might have been easier if Bill was permanently out of the picture as he's going to convince more hunters that Sam needs to be taken out. Glad Dean got Sam to promise that he wouldn't leave without him but will they both leave the relative safety of Bobby's salvage yard, which will make them more vulnerable but there again, the salvage yard is the first place Bill and the hunters he rounds up will look. Sam's heightened senses and strength may be an advantage at the moment for their survival but still hoping Sam won't turn completely or they find a cure. Things certainly aren't going to get easier for either of them, or Bobby in the near future. Sarah

The luck of the Winchesters..or should I say the unluck. Lucifer, other hunters, and now Sam turning. These boys never have it easy..but what they do have is each other. Great chapter. I was glad that Sam didn't kill the guys, he would have felt so guilty over it had he done it.I'm still scared for him though, as we still don't know what is going to happen. This chapter was awesome. In a way it's really cool what's going on with Sammy. The enhanced senses are exiting, but especially how he seems to enjoy and even need the freedom. But it is also scary, as I'm still not sure if he is going to turn completely or not. And now his encounter with the hunters. This is really awful. Wonder what happened. It is obvious that he is trying to protect Dean and Bobby. Can't wait for the next chapter. Please don't change anything. Hugs, Vonnie

You left that chapter on with a cliffhanger - who fired the shot and who screamed? And will the demon blood in Sam's veins stop him turning, just like he was immune to the Croatoan virus? Sam is going through significant changes, making his senses stronger and he is more powerful but am still hoping beyond hope that he doesn't change totally. At the moment his heightened senses are doing them a favour, alerting of danger but will that be all they do? Sarah
Author's Response: I love cliffhangers, but it definitely makes it hard waiting for what's next. Believe me, I'm waiting, too. :) I've got a general idea, but who knows where this will end up. I do know it will be fairly long, so I hope you're into that!

Even with all these changes going through Sam he still has a sense of family. Dean and Bobby are his family and he will protect them..from others and himself, no matter what the cost. Dean trying to put Sam at ease and lighten the mood showed his love for his brother. Clearly he can see how freaked out Sam is and he wants him to know it's ok. I'm worried for Sam now. These hunters mean business. I hope Dean can get there in time. Can't wait to read your next chapter. Take care,

Author's Response: I had such a good time writing this chapter, fun opening Sam up to what might be termed the benefits of being a skinwalker. I have a general idea for where this story is going but really, once I start writing, all bets are off. When I say the boys are driving, I really mean it! :)

Good job that Bill and Carl had the sense to leave, but think that Bill certainly won't let it drop, he wants Sam dead as he heard he started the apolcalypse. Thank goodness he doesn't know about Sam being bitten by a skin walker or he certainly wouldn't have left until he had killed Sam. And so not good that Sam now seems to be turning, his senses turning more animalisitic. I am hoping beyond hope that they find a cure or it burns itself out as Sam has suffered so much, he just doesn't deserve this as well. They deserve some luck for a change. Sarah

Just hope that they can find some answers as, if they can't figure out a cure, Sam will die by his own hand, saving Dean and Bobby the hurt of having to do it. And can see why Sam will take no chances and is insisting on sleeping in the panic room, terrified of what might happen. Great start. OMG Sam bitten by a skin walker isn't good, especially with everything else that is going on. Not surprised he found it hard to tell Dean but at least his secret is finally out in the open. Hopefully Bobby might have something in one of his tomes that will prevent Sam changing; he really doesn't deserve this, neither of them do.

It was great to see Sam make up his mind, although it was sad that the options were limited to either finding a cure or killing himself, still I admire him for that. Bobby is certainly the best thing that ever happened to both of them. And Dean, loved his musings and how he was determined to be there for his brother and not let him give up. Hugs, Vonnie

You really manage to bring out Sam's despair and guilt here. Feeling guilty for being the bit and for making his brother go through more pain, although it isn't his fault. Sam is the victim here, but it's so typical for him to feel guilty. Hugs, Vonnie
