Oh, Sam....

He really did go over the top with his OCD after that Wednesday, didn't he? The hospital corners of the motel bed, not a thing out of place, all the research lined up as if it was tacked up using a ruler, the Impala's weapons stash completely re-organised....and looking like the weapons in the back of John's truck.

Descent into order was a perfect title, hun, because that's just what Sam did to try to cope with the overwhelming loss. Shut down, drill down the focus, make order out of the chaos his life had become. Control everything he could.

And how our hearts broke for him during that long, cold six months.

Great job, Jacq.

Author's Response:

Hi Jules

Sam's 'order' is one thing that would bring relief from the chaos after the trauma of Dean's repeated deaths, and his supposed final death. The Trickster was still trying to prove a point I think.  But in those six months, I am sure Sam remembered it all, it will have been awful, as bad if not worse than when Dean died at the end of S3.

Bobby mentioned a Demon hunt in Death Valley...that will be the next part to this.

Thank you :)

Jacq
