So Rob and Galen have spirit family who hangs around helping them? and Galen was dead for 10 years?! Incredible! There's a story that I just have to read. I guess I'm off to Amazon dot com. :) I'm glad Dean is okay. and I wonder what's so special about the view at the coffee shop---Becci?
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I am so glad you are enjoying Galen and Rob. Becci is the view *winks* Hugs, Muffy

This is very exciting! I love the surprise of hunting a werewolf but finding something worse--- old and dark. Cool! I've been curious about your series. I wish I would have known you did a cross-over with them, I would have read it sooner. I like Galen and Rob! Right from the start I got a sense of the bond between them. It's not just that they're brothers but we get a sense that they're joined by something else. And I hope we find out who Rhiannon is. Sister maybe?

That was a gripping, intense chapter. Is Dean alive?I want to know like now. Thanks for the update Muffy, I'm looking forward to your next one.

Ah Fenris and Ragnarok added into the mix, and why not. Love the banner too by the way.

OOooohhhhh goody goody goody!!! *rubs hands together* I love the promise of that end note! Great chapter hun... and I think you were worried for nothing... Rob's voice sounded perfectly fine to me. I loved the banter and what struck me the most is that you managed perfectly to maintain the tone when all four of the characters where tossing dialogue around - no mean feat there - when you consider how strong each of these characters are! I love how well the mythology is intertwined- great job with that- and I especially loved how you underplayed the Apocalypse and Sam and Dean's role right now. I even thought it was a tad funny in a way that Galen and Rob seemed a tad oblivious to it and Dean's comment how it was a "story for later" - love it!- They're all sooooo wrapped up in their own destinies and troubles... yet here they are- thrown together... Again- great chapter- and I cant wait for the whump! Tree

First of all- I resent the "pointy thing" comment... I sooooo would NEVER come after you with pointy things... thats totally not my style. Now maybe a .45 with a few spare clips or a shotgun loaded with rocksalt... now THOSE could be options... LOL.... And second... DAMN DUDE... you give me an swesome chapter- but tis filled with comatose early deadDean! WTF???? and then the evil cliffie at the end... and even Sam with his messed up half digested leg? Dont get me wrong- I'm awful glad they made it back to civilization and the wormie thingees appear t be mushed for good.... but if Galen doesnt get his heal'n-ass together- soooo not good... Get writin' dude... I'm polishin my Colt! heehee! Tree

Another cliff hanger!!!! I'm going to pull my hair until the next chapter! :p

WOW! I can see why this would be hard to write! I have to be gleeful because the total geek storyteller in me figured out it was the Fenris wolf. LOVE IT!!! I totally respect the ton of research you must have done. On top of that I'm worried about Sam! Good chapter!
Reviewer: RoweenaC (Signed) · Date: 19/03/10 04:00 PM · On: The Forest
man, I loved this chapter! Great update... Sam, oh poor Sam! His frantic attempt at CPR... gawd, so hard to read. And so desperate and worried for Dean he doesnt even notice his own injury. Ghastly wound, that one, icky. LOVES IT Dean... freaking out in the ICU and blind? Searching for Sam? DUUUDE! Stop it woman, you are putting him and me through an emotional wringer... *heart breaks at thought of Dean stumbling hurt, half dead and blindly around, calling Sam's name* geezes, bring him back, Galen, bring him back to me. Oh and you could stay with him and me for the night ... *smutty grin* I love me some hurt Galen and Dean. And isnt Galen a self-sacrificing boy? If it weren't for Rob, I fear he'd lose himself some day... oh, plotbunny... hmmmm Rob. Good gods. He is really handling it well... so in control even if worried sick by Galen's nutty selflessness. I love how he takes care of all 3, first in the woods and then in hospital. Dude, Galen's gonna have to pay for his attempt at healing Dean. I can feel a pissed off Rob coming up, with lots of growling. I reckon he's entitled to break at some point especially as Rob's been really calm so far. Time for a hurricane named Robert to hit the coast... Galen... oh lordy. *fans self* What can I say. I am madly in love with him. Actually, there are times when I can't decide whom I prefer. Dean or Galen? Galen or Dean? Well, who says I have to decide... I'll have em both! Thanks again, hunny. I hope you'll mend the boys in the next one. It's hard knowing they aren't well yet... poor guys. Please update soon! Hugs. Ilka

AHH! Don't leave it THERE! What happened to DEAN?!? I loved confused Sam. He never really did figure things out, did he? Awesome!
Reviewer: GreyCat (Signed) · Date: 19/03/10 11:36 AM · On: Wolf Age
Great chapter! It was worth the waiting! But you leave it there? With Sam hurt and Galen trying to heal him without being caught by that... whatever that is? And Dean and Rob leaving to face those werewolfs? And you're talking about blood and hurt in lethal dose next chapter? What are you trying to do woman? Kill me (with curiosity)? Anyway, I'm loving it! More please! Dany

No, no, no!!! Muffy! Evil cliffie again?! So not fair! Well is Dean alive? And about Galen? He's not that good too! What about Sam? You better update soon or Tree wont be the only one going after you with something pointy! I'm loving it, but these evil cliffies of yours are killing me! Dany
Author's Response: And here I thought that was a little tiny cliffie. *evil grin* Thank you so much! Don't worry, if I don't get the next chapter done soon, Rob will be after me as well. Hugs

OMG I am in happy overload. And Rob's voice is just perfect! I love him when he's on a tear about research and this was just spot on! Although I suspect Dean will pay for the Curly Sue crack! More pretty please with an Emrys and a Winchester on top?
Reviewer: GreyCat (Signed) · Date: 15/03/10 10:28 AM · On: Wolf Age
I'm hooked! You definitely know how to make start Roweena! The Winchesters and Emrys meet again! Yay! Nothing better that this on my book! Did I say that I live Galen and Rob as much as Dean and Sam? I haven't read Muffy books (I have a problem called customs with amazon.com, I'm hopping amazon in the UK get her books someday) but I've read The Apothecary and The Forest (witch, by the way, I'm still waiting for Muffy to update, but I guess she's making us suffer a little more!) and I loved them. So I'm guessing I'm gonna love this one's too! Update soon? Pretty please? Dany
Reviewer: Primrose (Signed) · Date: 14/03/10 11:15 PM · On: Wolf Age
Oh this was just LOVELY! So, it looks like you're going with Muffy's previous crossovers and having Sam and Dean already know Galen and Rob? LOVE it! I loved hurt boys too. Happy sigh!
Author's Response: Hey hunny! Thanks, I am glad you like this. Yep I am pretty much going with what Muffy wrote in The Apothecary and The Forest. For one, it's easier and secondly I just like the way she introduced the Emrys and the Winchesters with each other. Muffy created an open series for that story arc so anyone is welcome to play. Have you read the books? They are awesomest! LOL. Hope you like the rest of it too and there will be plenty of hurt in their immediate future... Careful what you wish for!
Hugs, Ilka

Dude- What an AWESOME start... I was admittedly just a bit reluctant at first- since you said this follows the Hunt and I havent read it YET.... but I dug in anyway- cause well... wth... ten seconds in and I already had HurtSam and HurtDean... I was hooked- lol... I'm totally digging on this whole werewolf thing going on here... especially that tall, dark and hairy one that had Sam there at the end... whats up with that one. And then there's all those markings/runes... gotta think there's something up there especially since Galen and Rob seem to be on the case. And then there's the promise that Dean is hurt worse than it seems- only cause you alluded to it and there's the banner.... (rubs hands hopefully)... Anyway- awesome start- and I just cant wait for more. I just love the CN verse... and I'm sure you'll do it proud! Tree
Author's Response: hmmm, you haven't read the book yet? SHAME ON YOU! And I may have to warn you about the next chapter then. Coz it refers to the aftermath of some events of The Hunt. Mebbe finish the book first? Hm, I am not giving away anything about the runes or the wolf. But it wont be long. Knowing Rob, I bet he ll figure it out in the next chap. Or so he thinks. And it'll take a while until Dean's injuries come into play. And there is a lot of hurt in all their futures... Thanks a million fro R&R'ing... need all the motivation to pull through... Hugs ya! Ilka

Wow, that was bloody brilliant lol, i am so hooked. Poor Sam you beat him up so bad. i haven't read Muffy's books but i have read The Apothecary and The Forest so i'm looking forward to Galen and Rob being in your story. In fact i just can't wait for more.
Author's Response: LOL! Bloody as in good or gory? Hahaa! Yeah, poor Sammy hadda suffer a lot in this one. I dunno how he did it. Rest assured he'll be better soon! And there is still plenty of hurt in all 4 men's future, rightfully so. And may I say this: SHAME on you for havin' not read the books yet. I bet you'll like em! Be warned, the next chapter might spoil you regarding book two... And one more thing: Muffy told me she might update The Forest today, so stay tuned! double dose of Emrys and Winchesters heading your way. Thanks Lindsay, for reviewing and reading! Hugs, Ilka

Just awesome! You sure know how to draw your readers into a new story, I just loved how I was immediately sucked in by all the action. I hope you can update soon!
Author's Response: heehee! Yay! It worked! Glad you liked it! I am working on chapter 2. I don't know how long that'll take but I'll do my best. I want to tell the story as badly as you want to read it! Thanks for reviewin'! ~RC

It's never easy with the Winchesters is it? The simplest hunts turn into a huge smeg and they are left all hurt and lovely. But what's with that wolf? That doesn't seem very werewolfie to me! I knew there was something out in the woods out there! I knew it! And Galen and Rob? YAY what's better than two hunters? FOUR of course! Awesome start, is the next chapter done yet *waits patiently* now? *waits" NOW????
Author's Response: *tsk tsk*patience, young (sure!) Padawan. And anyhow, you OWE me the last chapter of The Forest! My boys need to come back to life, don't you dare leave em like that! Yup 4 hunters are deffo better than two. Even tho there might be some hurt involved and thus there might be never more than 2 healthy hunters/keepers around at any point in the story.... Okay, the next chapter then? Only if you promise to update The Forest!
Thanks for the stars and your review and the beta job! I am just glad you let me play with your boys. I hope yoou continue to see it that way. HUgs, Ilka

Okay, allow me to allay your fears... You didn't make Sam too weak in my eyes and you know that is always a plus. I'm flattered that you felt the need to apologize to me for it! (Am I really that picky? LMAO) As for the chapter...damn, chick! You certainly know how to start with a bang, don'cha? I thought it was so awesome and I do love me some protective big brother Dean! And since I haven't had the chance to read Muffy's books, I'm curious to meet the Emrys and how Sam seems to know them! I anxiously await the next chapter! Awesome job!
Author's Response: Wooohoooo--- she likes it! I must say I am a teensy bit (try desperately) relieved now. I like writing a very, very hurt Sam. I just had your words of Sam being too needy and weak running around in my head--- imagine a hamster in his wheel - like NEVER stoppin! I do love me some hurt Sam and protective Dean, too. But you just wait. It gets better, since the Emrys just appeared on the scene.
How the Emrys know the Winchesters and vice versa? That's not in the books of course. It's here, on UnGen. Muffy wrote the crossovers for that. And I'm patiently (riiiiight) waiting for the last chap of the second one to go up today (eyes watch, jumps up, runs around, sits down, eyes watch, jumps up - you get the pic, I am patience incarnate). So, I think you deffo should buy the books. The Emrys are different yet familiar. Like someone took the Winchesters added some magic gifts and an ancient background story a few herbs, put it in a blender and then made two other brothers from the shake... OK, even I don't get what wanted to say there... I mean, they do have this brother-relationshiip, a strong one, devoted. Like the Winchesters. You got an older and a younger bro... and a few more things... You get it? Me neither. Sighs. Just read The Apothecary and The Forest and then decide if it is worth getting to know the Emrys (of course it is!!!). Hugs and thanks for being the first to review! Ilka

man, just read the chap a 2nd time just to be sure I hadn't missed it. And dang, now I know why I couldn' remember. I BLOCKED IT OUT. So painful and heroic at the same time. I love this crossover so much.
Dude this is a tough read. And don't you dare leave my boys dead there. Hurry up and heal em. NOW. Or I will have to send Lucifer after you... Hugs, Ilka
Author's Response: Thank you so much! Don't worry, they are only mostly dead... if they were all the way dead there would only be one thing left to do... Hugs, Muffy

What a gripping chapter. Dean can't be dead, Galen either? Bad bad place to leave us Muffy, can't wait to know what'll happen next.
Author's Response: Oh thank you so much! Now, would I kill them all the way and leave them that way? Really? Hugs, Muffy
