That was beautiful, Jacq. I love Castiel's prayer said straight from the heart, and the fact that he has recognised how the Winchesters have been manipulated by both sides all along.
And the final touch - the look from the child to restore his faith, was so nicely done, and made me wonder.....is the babe special? Or was it just that children and babies have such pure faith and belief, and see the world and all its mysteries a lot clearer than we adults do.
Either way, it was a wonderful moment.
Thank you for sharing this, and have a Merry Christmas.
Bless you,
Jules
Author's Response: Jules,
As I logged on first thing in the morning as we SPN addicts do?! lol, it was to see my very first Christmas present of the day, this review, it made the morning start with such a nice feeling.
Thank you for your kind words and thoughts, I seem to be going with a theory on this one, and maybe? others stories in the future, that 'God' is absent because he could be a child on earth, and thats why he's invisible to the angels - but still intouch with them if only they would look to the children, gee thats way too intense...lol
And Merry Christmas to you too...:)
Jacq xx
