Have only just found these stories and just loved them, there is so much tenderness to Charlotte, and Dean, in his own special way. Looking forward to delving into more of your work. One quick thing though...PLEASE, there are no seat belts in the Impala, a mistake made by may!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much!;)

My apologies for not responding sooner - I had major surgery around the time you posted this and am now just getting back on my feet from that.

I think that the strange angel stories are pretty great. They are very complex and interesting and I hope that you eventually finish the series. Thanks.

Author's Response: Thank you so much!  I do plan on finishing the series...  I've just been dealing with some serious medical problems since the beginning of the year which has made it difficult to work on longer projects.

Wonderful chapter. I don't even feel like going to sleep right now just to finish it. Very nice touch with Sally...hint... hint... *poke*

Sorry for taking such a long break from your story, but I didn't want to read it without it having my full attention :) It definitely did now.

Wonderful writing and I am LOVING this version of the Winchester lives. So sweet and innocent and yet complicated enough to be interesting...:D

Wonderful work. Cheers, hun :D

Author's Response:

*is blushing*

I so owe you feedback on Sally...  Let's just say that it's been a wild couple of months, but I think my work is slowing down and my health is getting better and I should be able to finish stuff.

And I must confess that I love the Dean!College AU more than I should.  I think he's my favorite Dean.  He's certainly my favorite Dean to write. ;)

Very good!

I don't mind the adult content at all!

Author's Response:

Good to know. ;)

I'm thrilled that you enjoyed the story.  This was a labor of love for one of my closest friends in fandom and she urged me to publish it to a wider audience than I originally intended.

I absolutely love the way you've portrayed Sam and Dean's relationship in this.  Sam is such the adorable baby brother -- and having one of those myself, I know for a fact how close older siblings can be with them.  The way Charlotte loves Sam for being Sam makes both Sam and Charlotte that much sweeter.

The guys I dated always loved my little brother -- and if they didn't, they were kicked to the curb.

This chapter was so sweet it made my cheeks ache.

Author's Response:

See, now you're enjoying just making me blush.  I can't even thank you properly! ;)

The one thing I do promise myself when I write a story like this one is that both brothers need to be present.  It's not as big a deal if I'm writing a short one-shot but, in the multi-chapter fics, I don't want either brother to get lost in the shuffle.  (I guess the exceptions are stories I write for someone else within their specific guidelines...)

I wanted to show how much Sam meant to both Dean and Charlotte in this chapter and I hope that I succeeded enough to earn your very kind praise. ;)

And I'm still a sucker for the scenes in Georgia...

"You're just lucky I don' like makin' a scene. I wanna pull out my stick and lay the smackdown on you."

Ahahaha!  The very idea of Charlotte kicking anyone's ass is just hilarious!  Drunken Charlotte threatening a smack-down is priceless.  I freakin' love these!

Author's Response:

*twirls you*

This section had some of my favorite bits in the story, between the Sam/Charlotte interaction and Charlotte being drunk.  The mere fact that she would fall flat on her face while attempting the smackdown only made it funnier for me.

It's like flashes of old memories. It's like all this person's knowledge compiled and spread out on the ground. Then you close your eyes and point. You pick out one picture and you twist it into words that sends little ripples up your back. Like little moments in time that can only be connected as long as that person you're describing is there to mimic the emotions, echoed through the flashes. Like flies in a bottle. Doesn't mean anything unless you can attach some kind of emotion and a reason for it. Then you have a perfect character. Doesn't matter if the character you're describing isn't perfect, but the perfection lies in the imperfection.

You probably don't get what I'm (so poorely) trying to convey, but.... Wonderful job. Looking forward to another chapter and I hope you send me back the Sally-chapter soon so I can start learning from you... :D

Author's Response:

Okay, now I a really am blushing. ;-P

And to be fair, this is a remix of a story I've already written from Dean's POV.  Admittedly, this story is longer than "Always Falling" but some of the scenes are already in place.  I just fleshed it out a little bit because I love exploring Sam and Dean from an outsider POV - even in something as AU as this story.

- I hope you send me back the Sally-chapter soon so I can start learning from you... :D -

See, blushing again.  I am working on notes for you, though.  It's been a little slow-going with work and all.

Unparalelled! If you tell me that you "just thought up this character" my selfconfidence will move faster than my mom during a housecoat sale!

I mean how can you create such a perfect humanbeing in all their screwed up glroy and imperfect-ness in ONE chapter????!!! It shouldn't be physically possible!! How can you describe someone so perfectly in such few words. You've created an entire human devealopement over the span of a few thousand words- and done so BEAUTIFULLY!

Aaaaannndd.... breathe... Ok-rambling done --- for now!!!

Moving on...

Author's Response:

* is blushing *

- If you tell me that you "just thought up this character" -

I've been writing Charlotte for two years now - she's the main OFC in my Strange Angels 'verse.  And I did struggle with her character for the first several chapters of the initial story in that 'verse.  ;-P

It is really important to me, though, that she does come across as flawed.  I like to write her when she's particularly messy.  It's actually more fun to write her in this AU because she's not dealing with the bigger mess over in SA.

Great job! I was very surprised by the twist at the end & a little disappointed that "normal" Dean was just a dream! But it rocked anyway!

Author's Response:

Thank you!  This story literally wrote itself over the course of two days and it was something I've really wanted to explore.  I always considered it "complete" until someone asked me about the other main character in question, so there's a remix out there that I'm currently posting here. ;)

Gah, I'm so shameless when it comes to talking about my stories...

Reviewer: moira4eku (Signed) · Date: 16/01/09 11:44 AM · On: Any Chance Collision

I like your AU where Dean's life seems fairly normal but still kept his personality intact. Loved that he pummeled the boy that hurt Sam in the past. I like that Dean can see Charlotte as someone worth knowing. Looking forward to where this story is going. Sad at the beginning though.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much!

Keeping Dean (and Sam) in character was the hardest part of this story.  It was really important to me that I kept Dean recognizably himself, so I am doubly happy that I appear to have done so successfully. ;)

Reviewer: NongPradu (Signed) · Date: 16/01/09 11:23 AM · On: Any Chance Collision

Ah, now see, I'm a sucker for these ones.  I absolutely adore Charlotte, and the sweet innocence of this AU within an AU, where Sam doesn't have a demon sliding around in his ribcage and Dean and Charlotte aren't tormented by all the freakin' evil around them.

It's so sweet it almost hurts.  And in light of what I just saw in last night's episode, is like a balmy kiss.  I am beginning to despair of Dean ever being salvageable on the show now in his post-Hell angst.  Is there any coming back from the kind of character murder they're committing with him?  It's like season 6/7 of Buffy all over again.

Write me something season 4 where Dean gets his happy ending, will ya?  Pretty please with a cherry on top!!!

Author's Response:

*twirls you*

I confess that this 'verse is so addicting for me, I've actually written two small vignettes as well as the two main stories.  And this one is significantly longer because I sort of got carried away in the telling of the story...and there's a lot more of Sam in it.  (I adore both of the boys as teenagers.)

* I am beginning to despair of Dean ever being salvageable on the show now in his post-Hell angst.  Is there any coming back from the kind of character murder they're committing with him?*

I'm still thinking about that.  I suspected that's where they were going to go.  (Even wrote  flashback sequence about it in "Ghosts in our rear view mirror" that I later cut because it was a Christmas story for a fix exchange.)  I think that was more of a real hell for him - the realization of what he had done - than the torture itself.  And, psychologically, that can be one of the common responses to being abused.  But this is probably a topic more appropriate for the long overdue e-mail...

*Write me something season 4 where Dean gets his happy ending, will ya?*

Um...  One of my other 'verses - Gobsmacked - will eventually deal with Season Four.  I need to get through Seasons Two and Three first.  (And, no, I haven't posted a lot of the 'verse yet.  Just the first two stories. ;-P )

great twist and turn , didn't expect that at all , I loved reading it and I'm kinda sad its over but thanks a lot for making me smile three times in a row

Author's Response:

Thank you!  I'm thrilled that you enjoyed it, as I am absurdly fond of this story.  (If you asked me to choose my favorite of all the SPN stories I've written, it would be this one - despite all the 'writing' flaws I see in it now.)

There is a remix of this story written from Charlotte's POV for a very good friend, but I won't be posting that for a bit.  I'm trying to space out all of my stories. ;-P

Reviewer: NongPradu (Signed) · Date: 18/12/08 07:11 PM · On: Always Falling

Oh, so sad.  Dean so totally does want the wife and kids, somewhere deep, deep down.  He's just too lost and too damaged to ever admit it, even to himself.

Author's Response:

That was the premise of the entire story, actually - that he wants the normal life as much as Sam, but it's so deeply buried by choices and duty.

Thanks for sticking around during this one, too. ;)

Author's Response:

Not sure if this is coming up twice but here goes...

That was the premise of the entire story, actually - that he wants the normal life as much as Sam, but it's so deeply buried by choices and duty.

Thanks for sticking around during this one, too. ;)

I should add that I've done a remix of this story...but it probably won't go up for awhile.  I'm trying to pace myself between stories.

Okey.........now I want a hot and steaming Christmas present to !!!!!!! This story now go's unto my favorite list so I can read it over and over again !

Author's Response: Thank you so much!  I can't say I'd mind that Christmas present much myself. ;)

This is a very vivid imagery again can I borrow his knife to gouge my eyes out to void the imagery.

Secondly, I like the way you placed vividly Dean that he could to find someone and he doesn't have to be a jerk.

Thirdly, the character of CW . . . how she was also loved by the family and SAMMY. It also showed how Dean could be a jelous Bitch.

It was worth reading thanks.

Author's Response:

You're very welcome!

Writing this was a weird experience for me because the character differed from Dean on the show...but he also acted the way I would have expected Dean to act in a world without demons - still protecting Sam, a reason for all of the girls.  Finding that balance and keeping him Dean was a challenge for me.

I'm glad that you liked it.

Reviewer: sam (Signed) · Date: 18/12/08 04:05 AM · On: Always Falling

This is a story that can go down in the books of royaltiy. Thanks , but could I borrow Deans knife bow that he leaves under his pillow to goue my eyes something that  Ishould not have even imagened. What whould Sammy state.

Author's Response: Thank you.  I'm sorry about the thing you didn't want to imagine, though...

Reviewer: NongPradu (Signed) · Date: 17/12/08 07:51 PM · On: Always Falling

Oh wow, what a great chapter!  It's like the summer of love!  lol.

That fight was... painful and then steameh!

Author's Response: Thank you!  I did my best to make the fight realistic, so I tried not to hold back on the emotions.  I'm glad it worked for you. ;-P

Sweet Jesus !!!!!! That was so goddamn fine ! ( Sorry for the bad languish )

Author's Response:

No worries.  I swear like a sailor! ;)

I'm thrilled that you're enjoying it!

Reviewer: NongPradu (Signed) · Date: 16/12/08 02:37 PM · On: Always Falling

Awwwww....  I just love this!  What an interesting glimpse of another reality.  So different, but still so true to character.

Very interested to see where you're going with this.

Author's Response:

Thank you!

Keeping Dean in character was the hardest part about writing this, but the idea was too compelling for me not to try...

Between you and me, if I had to choose the story I've written for Supernatural that I love the most, it would be this one. ;-P

Dude, I write you novels in comments...
