Thank you! :D It was fun to write. lol. I was a bit angsty after seeing that episode. I wrote this right after I finished watching season one through for the second time. That line stuck with me ... and then viola, character study in poem form! :).

Yeah. ..That episode tore me up. Having him witness the most awful thing in his memory...and being unable to stop it no matter what! Just heartbreaking!

Wow, you managed to make Sam's pain visible and show how fragile but desperately needed his cover up is, very touching!!!

Thank you! I wanted to show just how vulnerable he was in that season. Jessica's death hit him SO hard and yet he held it all in attempting not to be "weak".
