Very cute! Clever idea. I liked this: "Biting his lip, he kept working, brow furrowed as he tried to come up with more ridiculous creatures for his list. He had to come up with the-most-unlikely-myths-that-could-never-possibly-in-a-million-years-be-true. Dean didn't want Sam to laugh it up later on if any of these turned out to be true. He would just have to make sure his B.C. list was reality-proof." LOL Sounds like something Dean'd do. Nice bit of irony that several of those things ended up being ones they later encountered (though I'm still unsure as to whether they've actually met up with #14, appearances aside). LOVE that Dean included "darkside Sammy" on his list, and that Sam added onto it. Really cute! I'm putting this in my favorites.

I love how you wrote this one. I think my own personal hell would be a bit like that--no one else around. *shudders* How awful. Well writ. ^^
Author's Response: I know. When I saw the season finale where he was just hanging there with those hooks going through his body, suspending him in mid air. OMG. I felt so discouraged. I mean....later it got MUCH worse when he was faced with hurting people, but still it must have been horrible to be all alone not knowing what to expect. Just thinking about what he must have went through down there is breaking me up. I feel so bad about it .... and I can empathize real well because I've always been good at that and I've got this HUGE imagination so I can picture vividly what he was going through and all of the scenarios are so NOT pretty. Poor dude. *GLOMPS DEAN!!!!!*

What a lovely story! There are so many good lines that express Dean's deep thoughts and unwanted emotions. "Small miracles are beautiful." That's such a wonderful line! I also like how Dean used the beer (and lack of it) as excuses for his maudlin thoughts.
